If Berlin is not on your travel map yet, do put it on. This hotel deserves a special trip just to experience it. It is beautiful, luxurious and very romantic.

Adlon is a Grand Hotel is a true sense. It is situated in a palatial building overlooking Brandenburg Gate (best location in town).

Adlon Kempinski simply can’t be faulted and that is a huge statement from a discerning Lux Traveller.

Rooms & Suites

Even standard rooms are beautiful but if you are a real Luxie go straight for the Brandenburg Gate Suite – my favourite!

This suite is superb. Large bedroom and living room, very plush and modern at the same time. Suite has a lot of nice touches, my favourite being a beautiful fireplace that your butler will kindly put on for you on a cold night.

Cuddle up with your loved one on a plush sofa with a glass of chilled champagne and strawberries with the best view in Berlin as your backdrop. Very romantic!

The service in the hotel is excellent! Polite, polished and friendly. 100% Lux experience.

Every time we walked into the lobby, one of the front desk staff recognized us, greeted by the name and offered a complimentary glass of Rose Champagne at the bar – nothing like I’ve seen before. We were celebrating a special occasion on the trip and the staff made sure we felt like royalty during the whole stay at the hotel.

The atmosphere is very old world glamorous & inviting. Lobby bar is the place to see and be seen. Everyone is beautifully dressed, ready for a night out or relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing or shopping.

The Spa – excellent top notch treatments. Probably I’ll go as far as to say some of the best I experienced in a European hotel. Very professional, friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast & Dinner

Both are exceptional. Excellent selection at breakfast – anything you can dream of.

Dinner Quarre offers beautiful gourmet a la cart menu for dinner. Again – atmosphere, service & food – we sublime.

Adlon is also home to a famous 2 Michelin star restaurant Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer. Dinner here would be a special treat for any occasion.

While we are on the topic – do let the hotel know before you arrive if it is your special occasion – they will go out of their way to make your stay memorable, like little gifts in the room, rose petals on the bed and other surprises.

Adlon Kempinski has mastered a skill of small touches that make all their guests feel very special.
